Methodology and Content
There is a balance between knowledge-based presentation, discussions, exercises and mini case studies. The course is designed in mixture of teach and learn, student activities i.e. discussions, individual and group case studies, and quiz. The course materials have been carefully designed and structured to be compatible to students come from different background and in different fields of business.
Prerequisite:
None however students are expected to have some prior exposure to the ISO standards series. Students without such background may find it difficult to follow.

•Recognize history of International Organization for Standardization ISO
•Understand the ISO 50001’s principles, process, terms and definitions
•Interpret the ISO 50001 :2011 Energy Management System Requirements
•Understand the necessary documentation in Energy Management System
•Understand the flow in certification of Energy Management System
•Introduce the feasibility of integration with other management system standards i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 etc.
Certification
Certificate of Successful Completion will be awarded to students who have achieved the attendance criteria,satisfied with continual assessment and final exam in the course of training.
