Introduction
Meeting customer needs is fundamental to achieving customer satisfaction. One of the methods Quality Function Deployment (QFD) provides is how to collect, process and organize the voice of the customer (VOC) into customers’ needs. The customer knowledge that obtained from the deployment process helps the team come up with products and services that highly satisfy customers’ needs.
The seminar will consist of two parts. The first part will address the methods commonly used by QFD for dealing with the VOC. The second part will be focused on presenting two cases, one on skiwear and one on maternity party dress, with the purpose of illustrating how to start from collecting the VOC all the way to proposing designs.
