Business Improvement Officer
Responsibilities
• Manages an excel-based performance measurement system which includes:
– updating and modifying the system when needed
– maintaining system data integrity
– ensuring the system run in effective and efficient manner
– checking to ensure data from users are correct
– highlight areas for attention
• Prepares various kinds of standard performance reports
• Takes minutes for meetings
• Assists Business Improvement Department to perform data collection and analysis
• Support various improvement projects for the department
• Provides administration supports to the department
Requirements
• Diploma / Higher Diploma holder, preferably in disciplines of Finance, Account and Business Administration
• At least 2 years of administration experience
• Attentive to details and sensitive to figures
• Excellence in Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

Grid Control Centre
Towngas have operated a 24 x 7 grid control centre, equipped with a sophisticated Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), since the early 1980s. With precision instruments installed at strategic locations throughout the network, the system continuously monitors the status of the entire supply network, raising an alarm if any abnormality is located. This greatly enhances the operation efficiencies and effectively provide a safe and reliable gas supply to the customers. |

Customer Service Hotline Centre
Towngas’ Customer Service Hotline (CSH) provides one-stop service that includes handling of billing enquiries and requests for appliance maintenance and installation. “You can hear our smile” is the motto of Towngas’ CSH. Instead of using an answering machine, Towngas’ CSH officers are on duty around-the-clock to answer customer calls. They can speak Cantonese, English, Putonghua as well as Filipino and Indonesian. |
