Dear 2014 Registered Professionals,

The Year of the Sheep comes by following the departure of the Horse, marking the official end of 2014. With the increasing volatility in exchange rates in Japan, Europe and other countries, coupled with rising costs of wages, rent and raw materials, 2014 seemed to be a challenging year for mainland firms engaged in export, as well as a chain of financial, logistics and service industries.

Over the years, Lean, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints have been provened to effectively reduce the cost and quality problems, locate the root causes, improve productivity efficient. Over the year, we are proud to announce there are over 400 students have completed SSI’s Six Sigma, Lean or Theory of Constraints public programmes, with hundred of new Registered Professionals. In order to a create wider platform for local Lean Six Sigma professionals to achieve national recognized qualifications, SSI has provided the Six Sigma Mutual Recognition Scheme co-operated with China Association for Quality (CAQ) since 2009, and over a hundred of Lean Six Sigma professionals have gained their national recognition through this scheme by the end of 2014.
