Important Update on Professional Registration Policy
六式碼學會 (六式碼學會) is pleased to announce an important enhancement to its Professional Registration framework. In September, SSI introduced an accreditation upgrade in collaboration with the Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC), applicable to all Six Sigma certification levels—Yellow Belt, 綠帶, 黑帶, and Master Black Belt.
To align with this new CSSC-accredited certification and to further elevate the quality and global recognition of our credentials, SSI will implement a revised professional registration policy, effective 1 January 2026. Existing lifetime professional registrations remain valid, applications will continue to be accepted until December 15, 2025, and starting next year, the new application terms will maintain the one-year option and introduce a new three-year option.
This update reflects SSI’s commitment to upholding the highest standards in Six Sigma certification, ensuring alignment with global best practices and industry-recognized benchmarks.

Key Policy Updates
- The existing Life-type Registered Professionals will remain their validity, the new applications for Life-type Professional Registration will continue to be accepted until 15 December 2025.
- The application process remains unchanged—candidates may submit their requests via the “Apply Course Exemption/Professional Registration/Renewal/CPD Form” (please refer to the form).
- A re-registration assessment is required when a New Registration Application is submitted more than 12 months after course completion unless an extension is approved by the Examination and Registration Board.
- Annual registration policies remain unaffected.
- Existing Life-type registrants may opt to migrate to the new 3-year registration scheme under a special transitional offer, based on their current registration duration (please refer to this link for details).

Enhanced Certification Features
All Six Sigma Belts Professional Registration certificates will now feature dual endorsement from SSI and CSSC, signifying the holder’s mastery of the respective body of knowledge. Additionally, each certificate will specify the issuance date and validity period.

RSSMBB-Cert-Life-ExampleMaintaining Professional Registration Status
To ensure continued excellence among certified professionals, all registrants must complete 30 Continuous Professional Development (CPD) credits (equivalent to 30 credit hours) every three years. CPD credits may be earned through structured learning, 項目管理, or applied quality improvement / continuous improvement / 精益 / Six Sigma initiatives.
