Lean Programmes Manager(2 year contract)

 

Department: Business Improvement
Reports To: Manager, Lean Programmes

This company consists of a variety of departments and each plays an essential role in supporting the strategic initiatives and operations of the airline. We are now looking for a self-motivated, analytical individual with strong communication and facilitation skills to drive a culture of continuous improvement, customer focus and lasting process excellence throughout the company. The scope of our LEAN programmes would include subsidiary companies of this company.

Lean Programmes Manager(2 year contract)

Job duties:

  • As the Lean Programme Manager, your key accountabilities include:
  • Work closely with the Manager, Lean Programmes to develop training plans to drive and foster the continuous improvement practice/behavior throughout the Company
  • Facilitate and conduct training workshops in all relevant areas of lean topics and methods
  • Coach and support cross-functional colleagues in the delivery of Lean projects through LEAN workshop and any other applicable methods
  • Champion change, challenge current processes and ways of working and collaborate with peers to deliver more efficient and effective solutions in the assigned area
  • Develop the LEAN knowledge and content system closely with line manager and to support the LEAN implementation plan
  • Facilitate multiple LEAN projects as required
  • Assist in developing Lean strategies for the company to establish continuous improvement culture

  • A degree in any Engineering, Quality Management or Science disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in managing Lean or process improvement projects; previous exposure in aviation, services or logistic industries would be desirable
  • Strong experience in LEAN training curriculum development and implementation
  • Proven experience in delivering LEAN training
  • Good demonstrated track record of successful projects with demonstrated results
  • Preferred Lean Expert certification and ideally with Black Belt certification
  • Hands-on ability to constructively challenge ways of working with strong influencing skill to influence beyond own function
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with sound facilitation skill in running training workshops
  • Practical problem solving skills of resolve problem effectively and able to handle multiple projects and workshops simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical, detailed and result oriented with the ability to dive deep whilst seeing the big picture
