Manager – Performance Enhancement

Duties

  • Formulate and propose directions related to performance enhancement
  • Identify business needs, gaps and opportunities under the dynamic operation environment to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Conduct feasibility study, operational research and capacity planning
  • Prepare and present cost effective project proposals
  • Perform analysis, design and implementation of strategic projects, introducing new operation procedures, cargo handling facilities and systems
  • Liaise and coordinate across departments
  • Assess and evaluate alternative solutions as proposed by solution providers
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of project initiatives according to project proposals
  • Keep abreast of latest industry trend, innovation and technology development
  • Assist in the preparation of performance roadmap and budgets
  • Supervise sub-ordinates on day-to-day duties
  • Promote cultural change towards the objectives

Qualifications

  • University graduate majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, or equivalent
  • At least 10 years’ working experience in business analysis, process transformation, procedure design or service quality improvement (Potential candidates with lesser experience will be considered for other post)
  • Knowledge in air cargo terminal operations or logistics preferred
  • Experience in project initiation and management
  • Previous exposure to Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
  • Creative, interested in innovation and new technologies
  • Self-motivated, willing to face challenges and capable to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal, spoken and written skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications and statistical analysis
