Manager – Performance Enhancement

Duties

  • Formulate and propose directions related to performance enhancement
  • Identify business needs, gaps and opportunities under the dynamic operation environment to improve efficiency and customer experience
  • Conduct feasibility study, operational research and capacity planning
  • Prepare and present cost effective project proposals
  • Perform analysis, design and implementation of strategic projects, introducing new operation procedures, cargo handling facilities and systems
  • Liaise and coordinate across departments
  • Assess and evaluate alternative solutions as proposed by solution providers
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of project initiatives according to project proposals
  • Keep abreast of latest industry trend, innovation and technology development
  • Assist in the preparation of performance roadmap and budgets
  • Supervise sub-ordinates on day-to-day duties
  • Promote cultural change towards the objectives

Qualifications

  • University graduate majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operational Research, or equivalent
  • At least 10 years’ working experience in business analysis, process transformation, procedure design or service quality improvement (Potential candidates with lesser experience will be considered for other post)
  • Knowledge in air cargo terminal operations or logistics preferred
  • Experience in project initiation and management
  • Previous exposure to Lean or Six Sigma is a plus
  • Creative, interested in innovation and new technologies
  • Self-motivated, willing to face challenges and capable to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal, spoken and written skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications and statistical analysis

Responsibilities

  • Drive the consistent implementation of TPM (Total Performance Management) and improvement foundation in a factory, ensuring the alignment with improvement initiatives and Pillars
  • Apply Methodology, Training, Coaching and Assessment on Pillars to ensure the TPM Implementation plan in factory and drive the results

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Preferable to have Certificate of Six Sigma Green Belt or higher, knowledge in TPM / Lean Manufacturing.
  • With at least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing field, and experience in Six Sigma, TPM and Lean Implementation
  • Fluent of both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Strong leadership, communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Immediate available is highly preferred

Assistant Manager, Quality Management

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing QMS policies and procedures (PNP), standard operating procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation system
  • Guide headquarters departments and location operations to develop, implement and document the Group’s QMS
  • Work with headquarters departments and location operations to ensure compliance of local statutory and regulatory requirements, international and the Group’s standards
  • Assist in reviewing and analyzing the performance of products and services against the requirements of QMS
  • Assist in planning, organizing and conducting ISO training and workshop to headquarters departments and location operations
  • Consolidate business process and operations quality related feedback for examination and analysis
  • Conduct and participate in inspections and audits in headquarters department and location operations to verify overall compliance of the Group’s QMS
  • Follow up the implementation of approved critical changes to the QMS
  • Assist in aligning/integrating the Group’s QMS with the requirements of other management systems
  • Provide administrative support and clerical assistance e.g. process departmental expense sheets and invoices, schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes, keep diaries and arrange appointments, organize travel for the team
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects/assignments as instructed by the superiors

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Quality Management or related disciplines
  • At least 6 years’ relevant working experience in customer service or hospitality industry
  • Familiar with the use of quality management systems, process and tools
  • Solid experience in ISO 9001 Quality Management System is required; knowledge in HACCP/ISO 22000 would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of written/spoken English and Chinese is a must
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with an analytical mind
  • Customer-service mindset with strong sense of responsibility
  • Strong leadership with training and coaching skills
  • Attention to details, self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Computer literacy in MS applications and Chinese word processing
