Continuous Improvement Manager

 

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan and drive the Continuous Improvement strategies to achieve manufacturing process improvement and productivity improvement based on Lean & Six Sigma methodologies
  • Prepare and update the Continuous Improvement roadmap in close co-operation with the plant management
  • Review business process, operations and workflow, make proposal to the management for improvement initiatives
  • Coaching project team leaders to drive and execute the improvement initiatives;
  • Conduct regular review or technical reviews and audit of all ongoing Lean / Continues Improvement projects to ensure the effectiveness;
  • Deploying continuous improvement concepts and Lean manufacturing concepts in terms of systems, processes and tools, to promote maximum effectiveness across the organization whilst ensuring operational and cost efficiency
  • Develop and conduct training programs that engage a wider scope of personnel in driving for improvement through Lean & Six Sigma initiatives
  • Perform ad hoc assignments by management

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical engineering or relevant engineering discipline
  • 8 Years relevant experience in manufacturing sector, with minimum 2 years in managerial position
  • Certified as Lean Master and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is an advantage
  • Solid experience in Lean Manufacturing Management, or related Continuous Improvement / Manufacturing Process Change management
  • Hands on experience on Lean Cultural Development, Gemba, 5S/VM, 7 wastes, VSM, PDCA, Kaizen facilitation and Lean Six Sigma training skills
  • Experience in printing industry is an advantage
  • Strong Lean Leadership with excellent analytical skills,
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese, and good command of spoken Mandarin
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Station in Dongguan plant
