Regional Loss Prevention Director, Global Loss Prevention & Investigations Department

Location: Shenzhen / Hong Kong / Singapore / Malaysia (one of 4 locations is available)Responsible for providing support and guidance relative to physical and operational security for all sites within their assigned region and manage activities of all site-dedicated GLPI and sub-regional LP staff within region. The individual will be the Team Lead for assigned audits, complete scheduled Loss Prevention, Physical Security & Supply Chain Security audits at sites within the assigned region. Reporting to the Global Loss Prevention Sr. Director.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4-year degree in business, criminal justic or a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
  • Minimum 8-years of relevant experience within a large organization and 5-years of senior level experience, managing a security or Loss Prevention team, preferably within the OEM manufacturing or logistics environment and/or law enforcement
  • Understanding of supply chains, security operations, systems and the loss prevention and physical security principles specific to the hi-tech and general manufacturing industries
  • Experience performing process audits, comparing practices against standards
  • Able to develop and market value-add corrective actions/recommendations in support of findings
  • Demonstrated investigative experience with emphasis on fraud and theft
  • Understanding of criminal laws and prosecuting methodology with the ability to document and present investigatve findings to appropriate law enforcement agencies and management
  • Effective at developing internal and external liaisons with law enforcement, regulatory agency representatives and customer/industry peers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin with strong computer skills in MS Office and common industry Windows based programs
  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) credentials a plus

This position has the potential for significant travel within the region and occasional global travel as necessary. Possession of a valid passport in country of citizenship and unrestricted ability to obtain visas as required.
